I currently use vacuum pumps at my lathe, and at my pin router. I am thinking about using vacuum at the workbench as well for work hold downs etc.. So,...I am thinking about running just one vacuum pump for the whole shop, and run a line to the different work stations.
Has anyone done this? will copper be a good material for the lines, or is black pipe better (as it is for compressed air)? I would also apreciate a good source for adjustable vacuum breakers to be used at each station to control the amount of vacuum required for the task.
Thanks in advance.
