Made this side table to fit between two chairs in my wife's office.21inch high with 19inch square top.Lots of chisel work.A good exercise in marking out.I have been sick for a month now so i took my time and made up the piece as i went along.Shes happy i feeling better.I even turned the bowel on my old crummy lathe.Nothing like woodworking to keep ones mind occupied. Thanks for looking.

I really like that piece, Andrew. The bowl is a very nice way to complete it, too. Great work!

Really nice piece. I love Mission style.
Is it Walnut?
Hope you are feeling better.

That's a beautiful little table. Little details like the treatment of the ends of the tenons really stand out.

I often find arts and crafts style furniture too heavy for my tastes, but your table has a lightness to it that I really like.

Well Done!

I too like the through tenons on the table, and am also curious about the lumber - pine legs, walnut top? What was your finish schedule? Very nice table.

Thanks for the comments. The table is black walnut.I used sam maloof poly oil.5 coats followed by three coats of oil wax.The finish almost took as much time to build .mostly because of weather changes here in so cal.The bowl has shellac and wax. Thanks again

All those mortices take forever. I just finished up a little rocker a few weeks ago that is all wedged tenons, the best i could do was 4 m&t a day I think there are 20 in the chair.

The table and bowel look great!

Table looks great. How did you create the worn or "aged" effect on your through tenons?

Andrew, I really like this piece. Are the tenons really through tenons? Including the ones on the lower shelf!? All those angled mortises. Very nice :)
