hello to everyone is a piece of burl, I tried to draw a shape that looks like a stone, wax finish

Francesco - again - very nice turning! I like the very rough and natural look to this piece! Organic is what I guess you would call it!

I really like that the form is not perfectly round and you kept the shape of the wood as you have found it!

Funny... if you start with the last pic, you would be hard-pressed to see it as a bowl. As you move up the pics toward the first, it slowly morphs into a bowl shape. I guess you could say this wood has a real "movement" to it.

Interesting piece. Looks like it would be tough to apply a wax finish because of all the crevices and voids.

I'd sure like to know how you got a finish on that Francesco! The ink work adds a nice element to it. Nice work!
