Best price on Vicmarc chuck

The Vicmarcs are tuff to get a great deal on. I bought mine through KMS tools. Otherwise I think you are stuck with Craft supplies and Packard for the most part. If you go with the VM100 instead of the 120 I believe Griz. has an identical chuck that would make their jaws interchangeable. Could save you some money down the road. I have been quite happy with my VM120. That being said Oneway makes nice chucks as well and are carried at more places thus increasing the sale possibilities.

I originally wanted a Vicmarc but ended up with a Oneway Talon for this very reason.

I second what Ron said,buy the grizzly or maybe two at that price and you will be just as happy.

If I had bought the VM100 instead I could have saved a bunch on a second chuck and had interchangeable jaws. If I bought the vm100 now I would have to buy different jaws of course. Indeed the vortex continues to spin.
