has anyone had any problem with strange high pitched noises that comes and goes periodiacly from either the motor or impeller on this unit --checked for air leaks--ok---noise can be when start up or after running for a period of time--noise can start and stop randomly during on cycle--unit is 8 months old ---tks,joe

Have you spoken to Oneida about this, Joe? They are a very responsive company in my 6 years of experience with them and know their systems better than any of us possibly could!

Don't know what the sound sounds like, but I was told when I ordered to make sure I checked the impeller as they sometimes vibrate loose during shipping. I did, it was fine. But, if I had a sound like that, I'd definitely do a bolt check of the whole unit.
