Hey folks. Last year my wife visited the local amish store and wanted me to make this nightstand for her.

After a few visits to the store and some funny looks from the clerk when I was inspecting the stand and writing down measurements I began working on it last winter. I pretty much have it all put together, Just need to put on the drawer fronts. The question I have regards the area surrounding the drawer pulls on the drawer front. It seems that they somehow "dished" out a round area around the pull. How would a fella do that? I thought a router bit, or maybe sandpaper? I'm at a loss.
Any thoughts?
I hope the link above works.
