Good Morning,
I'm in need of some help. I can't open this in corel 12 could someone save this in either .cdr or a pdf for me. Also what program would be good for me to get so I can open these type of files on the cheap side. I did download a free tril of progerCAD but cant seem to save it to a pdf.
Thanks so much,
Charity

Hi Charity,

I think DWG's are Autocad, but I might be wrong...if I am I'm sure I will be corrected.

I have converted it to PDF for you.

Try this and see if it works for you. Version 9.0 upwards.

Corel draw can import most versions of DWG, except the newest. You can download for free from Autodesk a program called DWG Trueview, it will let you open and save as an older version of Autocad, the most compatible is Version 12 or 2000.

Charity... try DoubleCAD. I's a strong competitor to AutoCAD LT, and it's free.

Dan DoubleCAD uses OpenDwg, and won't open the latest version of Autocad, they are usually 1 year behind, but you can't beat free.

I use Truviewer to convert dxf/dwg drawings. It's free and works on any level autocad. It has absolutely saved me many times. Open as dxf or dwg, plot it to pdf and open in corel. Done.
