I made this for my Christmas present to me. I put about $700 into it because I needed a new bandsaw and a new router. My wife thinks I need it to make a new bookcase, but I think I need it because it is cool.
Thanks for the plans Bob.

It's not the price of the tools that is important, it's what you make with them! ;) :D :p Nice saw!

First of all, very cool! I like the curly maple. Ready for a coat of BLO and she'll really shine! Also, thanks to Bob for the plan! I can't wait to build one, but I haven't talked LOML into the new bandsaw yet...:( Guess I could cut the shape with my cheap-o coping saw.

Very nice.
Be sure to amortize the band saw over it's hundred year life at the rate you'll use it in a home shop.
