This seems like a pretty good deal to me. It doesn't look like it would take up that much space in my shop and I do like to incorporate miters into a lot of my frames. It is an old production machine this guy bought from a factory and never used. It seems like a bit much for a hobbyist but the cheapest I was seeing these for sale elsewhere was 1500.

I worked at a factory that had a dozen of them.

If the column ways aren't worn that would be a nice machine to own.

They're accurate and quiet, although you do need air to run the heads up and down the column.

I think this one is manually operated with a foot pedal.

Find out what they were cutting with it, I've seen some of those that came out of aluminum window companies(storefronts, window walls etc) that were beat to hell, if its only been cutting wood they're fairly robust.
