They are even great when things don't go well. There was some problem between their electronic billing software/service and my bank. Finally nailed down that their transaction was never reaching my bank. They were eventually able to get the problem corrected. Took a couple of emails and three phone calls to get it all worked out, but they were always polite and helpful. Forgot about the big hit on shipping to Alabama (or maybe the cost has increased since the last time I ordered). Have to be sure and order big next time. And, their humor is certainly not the same as mine. In an email reply, I observed that an experimental store in the southern USA (say Trussville, AL) might be a good thing to try. I got back a completely straight laced answer about their business model and the fact that they didn't think their type of retail establishment would work in the states.
Anyway, looking forward to my new hollow mortising chisel and sharpening gear so I can try drilling some square holes.
