Well Tuesday was our 25 wedding anniversary:D so I came home with 25 roses for my loving wife.:rolleyes:I felt good I remembered the date. We got ready to go out to eat and she said you need to unload the jeep before we can go to town. The first thought was man what did she buy now. Then I seen this box!! Guess I should keep her another 25 years. Have not tried it out yet ordered the leg kit for it today. Can you put wheels on the legs if so what type will work best?

Congratulations on keeping a keeper, and vice versa:)
You can buy some legs for that, I think they run around $149, or bolt it to that big bench! Have fun, and hope you get another good 25yrs.

Happy Anniversary to you and your wife Dahl. Congrats on a great lathe. I think she's a keeper for sure.

Dahl do you suppose that trick would work for me if I bought the LOML 42 roses for our 42nd?;)

I tried my Rikon with wheels and hated it. So took them off. I had a similar stand.

Roses for a lathe?
Pretty good trade, that...
You came out smelling like... roses...:p

Congratulations on the 25 years. That's an accomplishment that should be acknowledged.

Here's to 25 more.

Very, very nice! I think you got the better end of the deal! :) (I expect most women wouldn't think so ....)

Dahl, congratulations, and I am sure you realize at this point that the roses are a pretty weak anniversary gift against that lathe!!!:o You have some makin' up to do!

On the idea of wheels, if you are going to turn anything bigger than a pen, I am not sure that is a good plan. But, if you get it weighted down enough, locking casters might do OK.

Happy Anniversary!!! Excellent gloat! Isn't it nice that even after 25 years - your wife can still surprise you!

Have fun with your new lathe!

Looks like you have two keepers there. Its way cool when you wife can surprise you and much more difficult to pull off after 25 years. I sure hope you took her out a great restaurant.

25 years, eh?

Just goes to show that some women have a lot of stamina.

Congratulations to you both.

I think that qualifies as a wife-gloat too! Congrats on your anniversary, and the new addition to your shop. You'll enjoy it, to be sure. Even nicer how you got it.
