A few turnings

I haven't had much time to turn lately. Been working on the house. My sister-in-law send me a chunk of sweet gum from a tree she had cut down. It was a 2 1/2" disk through a 20 inch trunk, but was not sealed and had many cracks. No large pieces to work with but I figured I would return some of the wood by making her something. Ended up with these three pieces. The little vase is 2 by 2. Finish is wipe on poly.

Paul, looks like some neat turnings, though the pic is fairly small and hard to appreciate your nice work. The gum looks like it has some beautiful color.
