I aint much on rings..any jewelry really. In fact, i wore my wedding ring the day I was hitched and havent since:eek:

I was cleaning up and found a small piece of Cocobolo and said what the heck. I found out my ring finger is just a tad larger then 7/8, so a few layers of CA did the trick to fit it.

That's a nice looking ring. But you really should have that finger looked at...

haha ken for some reason I also thought it was your finger at first.

That's a beautiful run, mind giving me a rundown on hos you turn it.

I had some 1.5 x 2 or so end pieces from making calls. I chucked them up, drilled the closest size to my finger which was 7/8 using a 7/8 forstner bit. Then I shaped the ring, sanded most of it, parted it off. Then I cut a tenon on a waste block, slid the ring on and finished sanding. Finished with a nice polish. On mine I laid a layer or two of CA on the inside to hopefully add some strength. I will do the same on hers once she gets home and I can make sure it fts

I made the wifes wider

The matching ring set is nice! But, Ken, normally those nose rings that obedient husbands wear have a chain attached!!!:D:D

Why not a childs bracelet since the day is full of firsts. This was another cut off of White Oak with some spalting.

Nice stuff as usual and a nice marketing move. I can see the "boys" telling the little mrs, "yeah, this guy has rings, bracelets all kinds of cool stuff - grab the check book and let's go!"

I can see why the vortex grows....

I merely mentioned that I was going to make a few bottle stoppers and someone ordered 8 of them. It seems the ladies dig wood:D I will see how these rings hold up and make some more I reckon.
