Making the antler pens for a close friend recently pulled me down yet another slope into the vortex we call wood turning. I had made a lot of cheap slim-lines when teaching my students how to turn them, but never had the desire to turn for kits costing 10 to 25 dollars until I turned a few for her. Now that I started turning a few, figured it was time to sell a some to supply the new habit, so I went back into the flat world for 30 minutes and came up with a simple display for my pens. It is made from a small scrap of wormy chestnut I had.
