These are a collaboration with John Underhill who does the feather work and casting.

You did a great job turning those blanks and showing off John's talents in creating those blanks. There is no other material that can give you that look. The use of the different colored fethers is extrodinary. I marvel every time i see his blanks used. Thanks for showing and good job turning them.

Your pens are in a league of their own. In fact, as I wander through my learning curve at the lathe, you have single handedly gotten me interested in making some pens along with some of the other turnings I'm trying. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, and I really like the "kit" used for the jungle fowl pen. Do you mind sharing who's kit and what style that is?

Thanks for the nice words.
The hardware is a Jr. Gentlemen's from CSUSA with black titanium plating and cobalt accents. It is the non-postable version (smooth endcap)
