I hadn't seen a thread like this, but was curious as to what historic pieces of furniture are out there.
The first and most obvious to me is the Resolute Desk

The combination of its history, combined with its still being used makes it truly unique and historic piece of furniture.
What are your suggestions? Not only historic value, but consider something that is maybe in a modern art museum, that has a modern design to it but is also unique in an extraordinary way.
