I did this pen for a woman in the area who is very dedicated in fundraising and awareness of breast cancer. Hopefully she'll like it.

Never did anything pink before.:D

Nice. I've made several pink pens, some ladies are really into pink.

Having an association with the Breast Cancer awareness inititative is a fine thing. You might consider making a few more as donations for auction items to help raise some money for the cause.

I think I'll do just that, thanks for the reminder <vbg>

Great pen, great cause. Way too much of that disease around!

Excellent work, Matt! My guess is you will be getting a lot of requests from the ladies for these. Wonderful cause, and a great gift.

Excellent looking pen Matt. I use a Flamingo blank from Woodcraft (wife calls it hot pink) and cannot keep them in stock. Those pink pens I have sold probably 5 for every one of the others I sell.

Thanks guys! This blank came from Exotic Blanks and is their hand made interpretation of "breast cancer pink". A portion of the sales of these are donated as well.

They seem to be out of stock a fairly often, but made these for me upon request. Great service from those folks!

Shawn, there's something wrong with your math, this thread isn't quite five years old yet. The op was done on Oct 28, 2010, but I am surprised at this old of a post being rehashed.
