I'd love to find a website, that really just focuses on turning kits.
Everything from yo-yo's, to game calls, to bottle stoppers and pen kits and shaving brushes.

Anyone know if such a site exists?

You need to visit Penn State Induastries's site and start getting thier catalogs. They carry quite a bit of those types of kits.

Some of my favorite kit suppliers:

Arizona Silhouette (http://www.arizonasilhouetteinc.com/cart/)

Bear Tooth Woods (http://www.beartoothwoods.com/catalog/)

Craft Supplies (http://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/)

Also check out Woodturningz.com. They actually sell some Penn State stuff at a lower price.

I agree with Scott... PSI is probably the most comprehensive for turning kits, but I use several of the others too. I don't think any of the ones listed carry much in the way of game calls.

Packard has a ton of that stuff. I just got their catalog today.

Dirk I'd really check out Craft Supplies. Awesome catalog and tons of projects in it.

Regarding game calls, my personal advice (as a call maker) would be to avoid the kits that you'll find in the woodturning catalogs. Most are a joke, but especially the duck and goose calls. Serious hunters and callers will not be impressed. For game call kits like crow calls, deer calls, etcetera I'd recommend looking at THO Game Calls online callmakers supply store.

Also check out Woodturningz.com. They actually sell some Penn State stuff at a lower price.I have found that if you call Penn State and inform them of the price difference, they will match the prices. Found some BB tools on Amazon when I first started, and they were cheaper. I wanted to order some other things from Penn State, so I just asked them to match the price on the tools - no problem.

So, basically, you all have satisfied my suspicion.
That there is nobody out there that JUST caters to turning kits.

Hmmm, might be time I start creating a new website.

I would think it would be nice, if there was one place people could go, to find almost any and all turning kits out there.
