Am i on top of the slippery slope?

First off, Merry Christmas to everyone. My son got me my first hand plane today-:) Now I have to teach myself how to use it I cant wait!OH-OH Ijust tripped over a power cord and slid a few inches! is that the slope you guys talk about???:rolleyes:
