New Servers?

Could it be the new servers are up and running? :D I noticed a difference last night and also this morning. I'm not sure though as it could be just very few people accessing SMC.

If it is new servers, THANK YOU! They are performing wonderfully.:D

The new SMC server isn't online just yet. Ray has a few more items left to get the operating system ready for the SMC software and Aaron will have to do some tweaking to PHP, MySQL and a few other custom doo-dads before we can switch to the new machine. The performance boost should be very noticeable though and we should be ready to accomodate the next round of "New Creekers". I think Jackie said it would probably be mid week before they expect the new server to be online.

Thanks, Keith. I know in the "Support" thread it was stated that the new servers might be up and running by yesterday. I just thought it was running faster so I thought I'd ask. While not all that knowledgeable about 'puter stuff, I do know that it doesn't ever seem to go how you plan.
