Carson Woodworks is terrific

I had some table legs I needed to put a taper on so I poked around the internet to get a look at some jigs. I came across what looked like a good one at Carson Woodworks so I sent him an email yesterday & asked if he had a plan I could buy. This morning I got an email back from Geoff that said he didn't have a plan & then he proceeded to include 9 detailed pictures of the jig with an explanation below each picture, he clearly doesn't know me from Adam but he really took some time to help me out. Carson Woodworks is tops in my book.

That's great, its always nice to find people that will share their knowledge with others.

The only problem with that jig is you are limited to the width of the board. I use my jig to straighten the edge of a board also and with the limit in width it had to so.

With my jig I use the table saw fence and not the miter slot, this way I can straighten the edge of a wide board with no problem.
