I usually don't care much for gadgets but I find this guide pretty cool. I saved the photo from an English old tool site. It was sold! Too bad for me. Ever seen one like it? Made from brass.

Still doesn't beat hand layout with a pair dividers, MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR device cool points though. I'd buy it just to have the example around, wouldn't use it, but would look at it, and make a dovetailed case for it.
