I am awaiting the arrival of my epilog as we speak...I going to purchase Corel X5 prior to getting the machine so I can get used to it (I am usually use photoshop)....I use Windows 7 32Bit and intend to upgrade my workstation to 64Bit prior to getting the epilog to take advantage of the increased processing power. I am wondering if Corel X5 and Photograv (latest version) work Ok on a 64bit platform. Thanks!

Corel X5 defintely works. Don't know about Photograv but most other apps will work as well, although you might need to set "compatibility" to an earlier vesion of Windows.
However - on my two Win7 64 bit computers, the 8.0.7 driver caused a LOT of problems. Switching back to the 32-bit versions of Win7 and the Epilog driver fixed it. Personally, I would be VERY cautious about using the current 64-but driver from Epilog.

And WELCOME to the 'creek.' Lots of great advice and people here!

I wouldn't waste your money on PhotoGrav. You don't need it 99.99999% of the time. Take that cash and buy materials to practice on. You'll be so much better off.
