I have recently completed moulding 650 linear feet of base moulding for the house I am breaking ground on in Feb. I am trying to get as much done ahead of time as possible.

SO... I have already stained and finnished (catalyzed laquer) most of the base board. My question is: after it has fully dried (at least 24 hours) can I store them in a cold enviournment or will this cause a problem for the finnish. I have a dry barn (insulated and drywalled, my future shop) that is empty, but also does not yet have power or heat.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Since it (the FINISH) is already cured, it shouldn't be a problem.

However, the Finnish people from Finland are cold most of the time......BRRRRRRR! (hehe)

Just havin' some fun,
Bruce

Jeremy -

Since you already have the finish on and it has cured (assumlng someplace warm), storing in your future shop will not be a problem. When you finally get to bring it in for installation, let it acclimate a few days prior to installing it.
