I was turning a pen last night & was trying to get the nib end down close. Wasn't careful enough & blew out a 1/2 inch section. I had another blank identical to the one that I was working on. I realized how tight I was & just couldn't see turning the other blank down for this mistake. I decided to see if I couldn't use one of my cutoff scraps & blend it in to fix my mess up. First time I've tried doing this. No mishaps on the other pen though.

Nice save... I save up those little cutoffs and glue them up to make pens. They sell faster than any other type of pen I make.

Nice pens Billy! Unless you say something - no one would know it wasn't intended to be that way!
