View Full Version : Finally Wine Stoppers turned...

Bought a few chrome wine stoppers back during the summer. Never found time to fool with them. Finally got a chance to turn some last week. Turned them in order from L-R. 1st one used an oil finish. Next two, I used wipe on poly. Got a couple more chrome ones to make & then will switch over to Ruth Niles stoppers.

Really nice looking stoppers Billy. I like them all but the right one is a stand out with that wood.

John, the wood is black & white ebony. Really enjoying turning it. It also makes some interesting pens. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. Temperatures have been dropping here in Central Texas. Now the weather feels wonderful out in the shop. Been enjoying going out & turning again...
