This is a platter i turned fron a piece of maple Steve Schlumpf gave me
when i visited him in sept. It is 15''x 1/1/2" walnut oiled. Thanks Steve
for the maple. Has it snowed there yet? STILL IN THE UPPER 80'S here.

Byron - great looking platter! Glad the wood worked out for you! Hope you can turn something out of that Box Elder!
No snow yet! Have been having sort of a late summer with temps in the low 60s during the day!
Hope your trip home went well!

Byron, that is a really thin platter. Probably looking even better in reality.

Byron, nice platter, though a little hard to see well with the small images. When you turn that box elder, try for larger images so we can appreciate your great work!

Pretty platter though I would enjoy seeing the grain with larger images.
