Anyone know where I can buy a steady rest to fit a 12.5" swing lathe?

Fellow creeker, Jeff Nicol made mine, and has provided them for a bunch of creekers. Send him a PM. Very nice workmanship and a good price.

Over on Family Woodworking there is a very simple homemade one posted. It is on a Delta 46-460, easy to make and I guess it works well.

Jeff has, in recent threads, stated that he is not, at least for the time being, making any more steadies. Bummer for those who don't have one because they are really nice. Baxter made his own and it's a ringer for Jeff's. Here's the thread on it:

Well I am still around just slowing down, need some time to get some other things in order around the house and the honey do list is getting longer and longer! I am a SMC supporter so that is what I will keep being until I am crippled up and drooling in my lazyboy!

No question will go un-answered,
