It has been ages since I last came and met you. I will not tell you the list of problems which prevented me from joining you here, but these are over (I Hope)

Lately a French friend of mine came and visit me while I was tuning and explaining to an Italian student how to turn an off centre spike. My friend is sure not a good film operator, but he produced the following

Amazing! I would have expected that slim spindle to fly into a dozen pieces when the lathe was cranked up!:eek:
