This weeks project was yet another lecturn/podium type thing. These are much smaller than the last ones I made....but there are 5 of them. There are a few pices of solid wood in these. The edge build-up, base moulding, and corner caps are all stained poplar.
It's kind of a "swiss army knife" with all of the pull-outs and drop shelf. The holes in the top panel are for electrical boxes that are to be installed by the client. They are laminated on every surface. When the back is removed you can see the back side and bottom of a lot of parts that would normally be hidden.
Sorry about the quality of the pics, there must have been some dust on my camera. I used a flash in some of the shots and it make them look more red than they really are.
