Howdy everyone,

Well a few weeks back I decided to buy me one of them plane things. You know the one's that don't have cords. :D

Well, let me tell you these darn things work!! AND...they are really cool to look at too. I'm still learning the ins and outs of these non-lectric thingies but I am making progess. I found a guy that restores these old Baileys and super tunes them with new A2 steel blades and such. I got a couple from him along with some others from Lee Valley and Ebay.

These darn things are addictive!!! At least they are legal.

This here is a #4.......

I have a couple and use them every once in awhile. They can be very helpful in the right situation. I still plane doors from time to time.

Yeah Mark, they work real well, and the nice thing is that slot across the bottom so you can get a good press around the buttonholes without scorching the button hole threads.

Norm,

The slot is where the steam comes out....I think:D The blade is for removing lables from the dry cleaner or the department store....they think of everything...for years we used scissors...
