From time to time folks ask for recommendations for a good sharpening service so I just wanted to say that I've used Bull Sharpening in Oak Park, IL for the last three years. I've previously had them do 6" and 8" jointer blades and was very satisfied. I just had them do 5 carbide tipped table saw blades (a 24 tooth rip, 30 tooth rip, 40 tooth cross cut, 80 tooth cross cut, and one triple chip). They have a reasonably fast turn around (mailed the blades on Sept 27, got them back today: 9 business days) and the total cost including shipping them back to me UPS was about $74. There was a minor problem with my order since I had transposed a number on my credit card card account and the called promptly and courteously to correct the issue. The blades were packed well with the saw tips dipped in an easy to remove plastic.
