Goblet attempt

found a few pieces of Ambrosia Maple in the bargain bin at Klingspor, rather ordinary looking until i started turning it

this is what i found in the first piece of it that i turned :)

2 coats of BLO just to make the grain pop some

Don, that is some nice work! The pics look like two different goblets with the light, but I love that wood - very nice piece, particularly for a 'bargain bin' find.

Real nice! Pretty wood and you can tell that in the sun the wood just dances in the light! Nice form as well - really like the flow to the curve!
