Does anyone make clips you could use to attach two hose clamps to each other? I'd like to end up with a figure-eight hose clamp so I can parallel one pipe to another that is already secured.

Can you not get a really long worm clamp and wrap the band around like a figure eight? I've never tried it, but I see no reason offhand why it wouldn't work.

I have ganged clamps to make larger circles, but never to make a figure eight. It can be done. You unscrew two clamps and screw them together to get them to come out in a figure 8, but they won't have any clamping power beyond holding the pipe together. ie., you could clamp the hose to the gate and clamp the pipes together with the same clamps. The hose-gate connection would never be tight all the way around the gate.

I had thought about that but was concerned that the width of the clamp (1/2") would prevent it from laying flat on the pipes because of the point where it crosses over.

Phil,

Put a thin layer of rubber underneath the bands... there will be some slight twist in it, but you probably don't need completely flat contact with the pipe the entire circumference anyway.

I have drilled and riveted hose clamps together. The clamps are stainless so they may be a little hard to drill.
