Hi folks. I got a laser a short bit ago after a long time of drooling and thinking about where it would fit into my shop, so I'm new here at SMC. I look forward to learning from all of your experiences.

First question is: has anyone ever seen 1/8" acrylic that instead of having a protective film on both sides has protective film on one side and adhesive with a sheet over it on the other? Think sticking an acrylic shape to a window...

I've been looking and I even spoke to one of my plastic suppliers and even he can't seem to find any. Hopefully someone has encountered stock like this

What are yo looking to do?

I put double stick tape on the back of acrylic(heavy duty)before I cut it
all the time. It is permenant though, as I use it for signage
I need it to be permenant.

There is a variety of ways to do it. Check with Coda or Mac Tac
online they sell it(adhesive) in sheets and it's not difficuly to use.

Most of the plastics suppliers will apply tape to a full sheet (or 1/4) by request.

The one I have right now isn't permanent. I'll look for something a bit more permanent.

Great. I'll look into this with mine, though I might have to get another since he couldn't even point me in the right direction to begin with.
