Brass Valve Tags

Anyone here supply tags to mechanical co. or plumbers?

I'm looking to expand and I'd like to make some valve and plumbing tags but I'm not sure about laser engraving on brass.

Will thermark work?

Your best option may be a press instead of attempting laser marking. There are some relatively inexpensive numbering/lettering presses for that kind of work.

Do the tags have to be Brass.
I've always used plastic, that way you can color code the pipes,
eg. (hot = RED, cold = BLUE.) or you can specify what a line supplies ( bathtub, bath sink, kitchen sink etc.)
For electrical you can color code for ground or live wire aswell as where the specific line feeds power to.
