Thanks Tom

Tom,

I've had good luck with Roo Glue. I found it at Woodcraft, but I'm sure it's available other places as well.

You can use regular panel adhesive. Dap 2000 would be one brand that comes to mind. ( I am not affiliated with Dap in anyway)

I would suggest that you apply it with the calking gun, then use a very shallow notched trowell and spread it evenly. Then clamp it in place or as "Norm" would say......Just a few brads to hold it in place until it drys.

I have bulit several kitchens using melamine for the boxes, I have found I like the peel and stick veneers the best. I sand the exposed gable ends with 100 grit sand paper, wipe off with lacquer thinner and stick the veneer. This works very well and doesn’t add much thickness to the panel.
