I am wondering how you tackled the straight 'pomel' at the base of the spindles. I have used skews for making pomels, but yours look just as clean and consistent, and if you used a different tool that would be good to have in my arsenal. :)

Matt : the work i skew lots of skew. i love my skews and use them as much as possible.

the mach is simple enough. lots of measurements :) i use a Galbert Caliper, and 4-5 venier calipers and patience :) the entire work took 8 hours to complete. all included.
