<center><div align="center" style="align: center; width: 260px; font-size: 18px; color: white; weight: 700; background-color: blue;"><b>Well, it's looking like a big one here in SE PA. </b></font></div></center> <br>I've heard anywhere from 6" to 2' of the white stuff.
Of course it's been snowing for about 4 hours & we already have 5 or 6" & it's supposed to be worse tomorrow - so I'm thinking the low end is out. Well I have to tell you that I really don't like winter :( & I especially hate the <font size "2" color="blue"><b>cold</b></font>
<p>But 1 really big blizzard a year is kinda  <br>
The only thing is that this is bad timing - I have a million things to do before I take a quick trip to Houston at the end of the week.
At least it will be warmer down there :D
How's everyone down Ky & NC way fairing. I hear y'all are getting blasted with ice pretty bad. Be carefull out there

Well, okay, it was snowing, but it still is blowing. On one end of my house there is about &frac12;" of snow, and on the other, about a foot. Roads around here stink. So I'll just keep the woodstove filled and stay inside.

Everything is getting coated with ice. Supposed to get worse this afternoon and evening. I know I'll be glad when the LOML gets home from work. Thank goodness he doesn't have to cross any bridges between here and there.

Ruby, I grew up in Greensboro, home of the ice storm. In this part of Va we had about 1/2+ of rain yesterday morning, changing quickly from freezing rain (thank goodness), into sleet with snow mixed in. So far we have not received to forcast 8-12" (another thank goodness) but it is blowing and 24 degrees. Nasty, nasty, winter

Changed to sleet here about 1/2 hour ago. It's coming down hard now, so it won't be long before the roads are going to get bad quickly. (sigh)

Wishing spring would hurry up and get here, so I can start complaining about hot weather. :p

Regards,
Ruby

...I had to quit pulling weeds for a while and come inside to watch the race in air conditioning.

My wife wants me to go back out and cut the grass. Since the race is on rain delay, I may go back out and loll in the pool until it cools off enough to go back to work.

All we have had is sleet. It's now tapered off to very fine. Probably an inch received.

Tom, It's 3:00 PM and it has just started to snow here. I'm not all that far north of you, but looking at the radar, we are at the very northern edge of the storm (so far). But, we have gas for the tractor, wood for the stove, and adult beverages for the snow removal team - after all the snow is removed of course!

This cold ain't no fun though. I am enjoying sitting next to the wood stove whilst perusing the internet.

I just took a little road trip in my beat up 86 4WD truck. The roads are pretty bad but not near inpassable. I didn't see 1 plow truck though. The worst problem was my defrost doesn't work so good - so I was scraping ice off the inside of the windshield as I was driving down the road.
I'd guess we have 8-10" of the white stuff right now.

The reason I went out is my snow blower broke in the last big snow we had & I Never fixed it. Well - We've already shoveled the 70' long drive twice & my back said no more. I ran out to get a new v belt & I hope that's all it needs cause it's getting ugly here.

That's not fair Al! It is 12 deg and the wind is blowing about 25 mph here, een though the snow is just starting. I'll be sure to think of you this summer.

BWAHAHAHAHA

The only good news is so far it's really light fluffy stuff - so removal with a tractor should be no problem.

Well Off to hopefully fix the snow blower - keep warm & Safe!

This ain't no lawn mower with a chair on it Tom. We're talking a John Deere 400 with a front end loader, chains, and wheel weights. And, it has been souped up with a brandy new 25 HP Kohler 2 cylinder engine over the old 20 HP. (ugh ugh ugh!)

You can see it on the edge of this picture. Good luck with the snowblower.

about 6" of <b>RAIN</b>!!!! I'm beginning to feel like Noah and the Ark around here.....I have emptied about 65 gallons of water out of the shop due to the leaky roof (metal building put on by a bunch of drunks during original construction BEFORE we bought the place).

I am ready for SNOW, SUN.....anything but RAIN!!!!!

<center><div style="font-size: 12px; color: red;font-weight: 700; background-color: yellow; width: 560px;">Ok so it's 4 hours later! I did get the snow blower working - but not great. I broke my garage door - my daughter downloaded a problem file from a friends IM, while I was out freezing my you know what off - oh yeah to finally get it started I had to pull the starter rope about 100 times - The snowblower quit before I finished the drive - there is now snow all over my shop floor YADA, YADA, YADA.  </div></center>
<center><div style="font-size: 14px; color: blue; font-weight: 800; background-color: yellow; width: 520px;">Ok I feel much better now - thanks for letting me vent ;) </div></center>

Bill- I've seen the pics of your tractors before - you should have no problem cleaning up - as long as it runs better than my 30 year old snowblower - I guess they're calling for almost 2' here. Also another tip on posting pics - if you use the"img src" tag - instead of the "a href " tag you should be able to post multiple pics (Assuming all the pics are hosted on your web site & the rules allow it.)

<center><div style="font-size: 12px; color: yellow; font-weight: 800; background-color: blue; width: 280px;">Al - That post really aint funny now! ;)</div></center>

Howard - Thanks - I'm heading for Clear lake for a long weekend to attend a charity ball where my brother is being honored - leaving Thursday night if the runways are cleared - see what you can do about those 70&#176; temps :D<br><br>

Tom, I live in Bealeton Virginia and in my back yard I have about 17" of the white stuff with drifts much higher. It's about 7:50 pm and it's not suppose to stop until sometime tomorrow. Oh well I spent most of the day in the shop. I did manage to make 1/2 dozen pens and cleaned and waxed some equipment.

I thinkyou're delirous from being snowed in ;)
We've got at least 2' with drifts to 5' in some spots - I can't see one of my cars in the driveway & that's after clearing 3 times yesterday!

Sorry - but I still hate winter!

Hoping I can nurse the snowblower back one more time later today.
