Anyone have one and if so what do you think about this saw? The one I am looking at is 15 years old. It would be used only for a dado set up.

Thanks Richard

Looks to be a 10"contractors saw so I am guessing you will not like dust collection or motor hanging out the rear of it.

Better known as a Delta Model 10 contractor saw. CS-4L-3 refers to the particular Delta parts list of model numbers that share same parts. The owner evidently does not know much about his CS.

You know the motor hangs out the back and DC can be improved with some work at baffling, and a DC connection beneath the saw.

As contractor saws go, the older Rockwells and Deltas are solid saws, except those later Jetlock fences are a bit under par. IF the price is right, it should serve you well as a dedicated dado saw.

Chip you were right about the fence. I went and looked at the saw and the back of the fence would deflect about ½’’ when pushed on it. She did offer it to me for $50.00 but I still passed as the saw was also in pretty rough shape.

Thanks for the input guys
Richard
