And I can't find any info online for this.

I can't even find the proper manual.

I found one for an updated version of this with the height handle on top, but mine is an older version with the handle on the side.

Anyone know a good place to look for belts?

I would start with ereplacementparts.com

They don't show the model either.

Any other suggestions?

Is it a belt or a chain? If it's a belt, maybe a segmented v-belt from the auto parts store would work. Or, one of the link belts you can buy from Harbor Freight or Woodcraft.

The updated version of this one uses a belt, and I can't imagine they would have had a complete redesign and still call it a JWP-12.

What bugs me is that even the Jet website doesn't list it.

I'm going to try and call there tomorrow, and see if they have it cataloged off site.

Well I did some more digging on this tonight, and I think I probably have it nailed down.

First of all, this is a really old planer. I'm seeing references as far back as '03 for the version with the top crank, and mine is older than that.

What's even odder, is that the top crank version is still available new in the UK.

The reference number for the belts goes off of the Jet model# JWP12-312.
That translates to a belt number 135J6 which also happens to be used for one of the Harbor Freight planers.

That 135J6 belt is also the same as the Delta 22-546.

I thought I'd go ahead and post all of that in here, just in case someone else ever runs across this problem.

Once the belt comes in, i'll be checking out the condition of the blades. Hopefully the blades won't require as much digging as the belt did.

Oh, and the Delta belt goes for half the price of the Jet belt, even though they cross reference as the same.
