When I posted my prototype staved vessel, I was chastised for some of the construction and I was requested to post a tutorial. My second vessel attempts to correct the construction techniques. I have my second vessel almost done (started applying finish tonight, so I may have pictures by Monday.) I have created a tutorial page http://tcwoodturners.org/howto/staved (http://tcwoodturners.org/howto/staved)on my club's website of the construction to this point. I do not intend to cover the finishing process, so all that it lacks is the picture of the completed item. Comments and critique are more than welcome.

Thank you for the time and effort you put into this tutorial, Tom. This kind of thing really helps the rest of us.

Very nice work here, and staved vessels are really attractive to me, and when I get my steady rest I hope to do some in the future.

Thanks again!

Thanks for taking the time to document that process. At some point I think I'd like to try that. Good job and a nice piece!
