I know that Corel X3 uses a color palette in .cpl format, but I've been told that X5 uses xml. Is this correct? If so, can the cpl be converted to the xml?

Not sure that this will help you but if you look under "tools">color management you will see options available. In terms of palettes look under "window"> color palettes. There are quite a lot of options there.

Hey Dallas,
That's actually kinda cool as XML is just a plain text file,
so you can just view/edit the file in a text editor like notepad.

Though, what I would probably do is take an existing pallet,
SAVE AS <new_color_pallet_filename>, then just just remove what I don't want.
