My brother came to visit today and brought me a hand saw that was either our great grandfather's or our step-grandfathers. It has the following inscription:
"This saw especially designed for mechanics use. Made from high grade steel pefectly hardened and tempered, taper ground, level filed. Weatherproof hardwood handle.
Robert E. Willard
The medalling says "warranted superior".
My brother has had the saw for years and recently sharpened it. Now to try it.
Can anyone tell me anything about the saw? I will send pics later.
