Hitachi Drill Press

Good morning everyone. I saw a Hitachi 15 inch drill press at Lowes the other day and am considering it with the 20% off currently going on. I think it's in the low $200s before discount. Anybody know anything about it?
I'm also considering a portable, ie. handheld, planner. I think they have Dewalt, Makita and Bosch. Any thoughts on which is the best choice?

FWIW, the Hitachi drill press appears to be very similar to the Craftsman model I have. No complaint on mine so far, but I have not really done that much with it yet.
