Anyone have one of these old Atlas table saws? If so what are your thoughts? Looking at using it for a designated dado set up.
Thanks Richard

I just found out the saw I was looking at has a 7 ˝’’ blade size on it so it won’t work with my dado set ,so I am passing on this saw. But for an asking price of $65.00 dollars it looked good anyway...

Thanks Richard

I have a 10 in full size Atlas/Clausing TS. Issues with it: the arbor is 3/4' and the fence needs to be replaced, as the original is only about 18" from the blade with fully extended. Otherwise, very substantial saw. Actually, I rather be working with a modern TS, such as Powermatic, or General or Delta (or of course SawStop).

Are you sure that is not an 8" saw? I had an Atlas 8" years ago, and I used it with Skil Saw blades, because they were cheap and easy to find. I am sure that one had a 5/8 arbor. I also used a Sears wobble dado on it.

It was my first saw, and served me well.
