What Charles said...I've been using Open Office since I bought this machine both to avoid reloading MS Office and all the pain in the butt patches, etc, and to test it out. I'm a very happy camper with it. And you can't beat the price...free.

Absolutely. That's one of it's endearing features! Most of the features of MS Office (including some of the more esoteric ones) and native file compatiblity back and forth.
