Grizzly G0458 sander

Any one have Grizzly 18/36 open end sander, I can not track the feed belt. I run the left side tight. It tracks to the right, I run the right side tight and it tracks to the right. Every 6-10 boards I have to loosen the belt and slide it back by hand. Any ideas?

I have that sander and never had a tracking problem. On the few occasions where I have hade to track a belt(new belt/belt stretch)it took forever for the belt to move one way or the other. I suggest not making such large adjustments when you tighten the belt on either side.

I also have the sander and have not had problems. I think Carey has the right idea.

same machine. Insufficient power problems, but absolutely no tracking problems.
Owner's Manual needs to be read very carefully, I've found. Several adjustments aren't intuitive
