Good Day to the Turners of the Creek.

As it seems xmas is coming quickly I figured a couple of stoppers on a maple stand would make nice gifts.
Here is the start of the herd. About 15 more and then it will be on to the stands.
Cocobolo with friction wax.

I hope my jointer, planer, and table saw still work to do the stands....
Hope everyone had a little shop time this weekend.

...a couple of stoppers on a maple stand ...the start of the herd.Gary, every good herd starts with some good broodstock! Well done, here, and looks like you are well on your way to another nice batch. I remember the last time you did the Christmas stopper marathon. A dangerous place for a piece of 2"x2" stock - especially cocobolo!!

Beautiful stoppers especially in 'herd' form. I love the variety, and the finish looks great on every one.

Can't ever go wrong with cocobolo. I really like the shapes you've done. I'm inspired (gonna copy them).

Those are some real nice ones. Cocobolo always looks so rich. Have you ever made the Glinter style stoppers? I want to give them a try. I have some of the kits.
