Woodpecker was selling a " C " stock 27 x43 phenolic table top for a $100 off. Perfect except for a cosmetic ding on the edge of one of the tracks. Other than that it perfect so says the tech man. So next week I get the top delivered. Now I need a support table.

Is there a table top stand that is heads and shoulders better than the most of the marketplace?

Or better yet a great stand for bang for the dollar?

The new Woodpecker stand is $ 190 dollars and $ 50 dollars for a wheel set. So that gives you a point of reference.

Next question-----Is a pre-made under router dust collection box a good idea? I seen a few made out of plastic and steel. I was thinking perhaps they are made with special angles to facilitate dust collection.

Your inputs would we most welcomed.

Thanks you all,

Herb

You be a WOODWORKER. No metal stand is worth it.

Mine sits on on old printer stand from the office. Will's is very nice and I may copy some of the features.
